Maumelle Police Department is now a permanent collection site for unused or expired medication.  The drop box is located in the front lobby of the Police Department.   

The following are accepted items to place in the drop box:

• Prescriptions
  • Schedule II-V controlled & non-controlled substance
• Vitamins
• Prescription Ointments
• Pet Medications
• Prescription Patches
• Over-the-Counter Medications

Please DO NOT place the following items in the drop box:

• Needles
• Inhalers
• Aerosol Cans
• Thermometers 
• Lotions or Liquids
• Hydrogen Peroxide
